A combination of sightseeing Jordan and sports: horse riding in the Wadi Rum.
Imposing Petra, with temples, tombs, churches, a Roman theater, houses and more to see. The Nabateans build Petra more than 2000 years ago and Petra was their capital. Nabateans were traders and a wealthy nation. Petra was hidden for centuries but now open to the travelers to see the faded glory, still impressing.
A desert so beautiful, impossible to write in words. 3 Days horse riding to get a real impression of the Wadi Rum to experience the full beauty. You'll have your horse to concentrate on to enjoy a magnificient ride in a desert of rocks, mountains, gorges, sand dunes and vast plains.
A day relaxing at the Red Sea, Maybe snorkeling or a try-dive? In Aqaba center you will find the souk, a mix of Arabian and modern style shopping and plenty of nice restaurants with local and foreign meals.
Imagine that you can't swim in water that contains 10 times more salt than the ocean. The water will push you up to make it possible to read a (guide)book. Black Mud is available to use as a bodymask.
All transportation during the journey. 3 Days horseback riding with guide. All overnights including breakfast (3 nights tourist class hotel, 2 nights luxury camp, 2 nights bivouac). All meals, bottled water, coffee and tea during horse riding.
Flight ticket. Lunch and dinner in Petra, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Travel insurance with extra high-risk sports. Cancellation insurance. Visa Jordan. Ticket Petra, Wadi Rum (Jordanpass). Ticket Dead Sea. Drinks, gratuities and personal expenses.
Day 1: Arrival in Amman, transport to Petra. Tourist class hotel.
Day 2: Exploring Petra. Around 5 p.m. transport to Wadi Rum to stay a luxury camp with sanitary inside your tent.
Day 3-4-5: Start of your horse riding adventure through the Wadi Rum. Every day around 4-6 hours horse riding. Partly in the morning, and after lunch and relaxing. Before the sunset we will prepare a camp for bivouac. Lunch and dinner will be prepared on the road. The last day we will arrive in the camp to stay the last night in a luxury fairytale tent again.
Day 6: After breakfast transport to Aqaba where you will stay at a Red Sea resort with swimming pool and the Red Sea within walking distance (2 minutes) for diving, snorkeling or a sun bath. Possibility to go to Aqaba souk.
Day 7: The driver will pick you up from the resort to travel to the Dead Sea for a floating experience in the salt water with many health properties. You will stay overnight in Madaba in a tourist class hotel, close to the airport (45 minutes).
Day 8: Transport to the airport.
